“Edited by senior members of the Center for Narrative Research (CNR) at the University of Wuppertal, and hosted by the institution’s Center for Information and Media Processing in cooperation with the university’s library, DIEGESIS is one of the leading resources for cutting-edge theoretical and empirical work on narrative, narrativity and storytelling in all media, contexts and applications, from fiction to film, literature to conversation, and journalism to social networks.” (From the DIEGESIS website.)
“Narrative is the official journal of International Society for the Study of Narrative. Its mission is to publish essays that contribute to both narrative theory and the interpretation of individual narratives. Within those parameters, the journal is open to work on the elements, techniques, structures, and forms of narrative as well as on its relations to other modes of discourse, its history, and its powers (and limits) in cultures past and present.” (From the Narrative website.)
“Narrative Inquiry is devoted to providing a forum for theoretical, empirical, and methodological work on narrative. Articles appearing in Narrative Inquiry draw upon a variety of approaches and methodologies in the study of narrative as a way to give contour to experience, tradition, and values to next generations.” (From the Narrative Inquiry website.)
“Narrative Works is an online, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal developed by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Narrative at St.Thomas University. Narrative Works is a venue for disseminating scholarly work related to narrative that does not fit neatly within established disciplines, publishing work by theorists, researchers, and practitioners working on a wide spectrum of topics that cut across conventional academic boundaries.” (From the Narrative Works website.)
“Poetics Today brings together scholars from throughout the world who are concerned with developing systematic approaches to the study of literature (e.g., semiotics and narratology) and with applying such approaches to the interpretation of literary works. Poetics Today presents a remarkable diversity of methodologies and examines a wide range of literary and critical topics. Several thematic special issues are published in each volume, and each issue contains a book review section.

Podcasts
Narrative Now! is hosted by Ashley Barnwell and Signe Ravn, and produced by the Narrative Network at the University of Melbourne. The podcast covers both ‘how-to’ episodes focusing on different approaches to working with narrative and storytelling, and ‘what’s new’ episodes that dive into new trends in narrative research.
The Project Narrative Podcast, launched in November 2021, is a monthly series in which a scholar selects a short narrative, reads it aloud, and then discusses it with a host. The discussion is organized around the questions, “what is this narrative doing, how is it doing it, and why do both of those things matter?” (From the Project Narrative Podcast website.)
