How it started

What happens when a professor of nursing and a professor of gerontology find themselves wishing for a community of narrative-minded thinkers? They start the first ever international, interdisciplinary conference on narrative, call it Narrative Matters.

22 years later the conference attracts hundreds of participants drawn together by the question of narratives’s role in the world.
