Narrative Matters Conference
The Narrative Matters conference is international, interdisciplinary and independent.
Narrative Matters is a series of biennial, interdisciplinary, and international conferences that bring together scholars and practitioners in the social sciences and the humanities to explore the narrative complexity of human life on multiple levels and in multiple domains.
There is no official Narrative Matters website; information on past conferences is published on the host’s website. All information aggregated here is publicly discoverable.
“Because of the ability of narrative to cut across disciplinary lines… those whose research draws them to use narrative and to study narrative do not always fit neatly within traditional academic circles… Accordingly, many of them feel the need for a unique kind of community in which they can share – and shape – their respective explorations into the world of narrative ideas.
